Your Halfwake data
Export a copy first if you want to keep your journal. These controls are available in the corresponding local or account-enabled build.
Delete one dream
Open it from Journal, choose Delete, and confirm. Signed-in deletions sync when connected and prevent older device edits from restoring the same entry.
Clear this device
- Open Settings → Data & Privacy.
- Export JSON or CSV if you want a separate copy.
- Choose Clear this device and read the confirmation.
- Confirm to remove its journal, drafts and preferences.
If signed in, pending changes must sync first and Halfwake ends this device’s session. The cloud journal stays in your account. A sync failure retains your local changes so you can retry. If the account was deleted elsewhere or you decide to discard unsynced changes, export first, then use the recovery option and type REMOVE. This permanently discards the device copy without uploading it. A connection may still be needed to finish signing out.
Delete your Halfwake account
- Sign in and open Settings → Account & sync.
- Choose Delete Halfwake account.
- Read the explanation, type DELETE, and confirm.
This removes the live Halfwake cloud journal, profile and account membership, as well as its copy on this device. Diaroo data and access are preserved. The shared authentication identity is removed only when it is no longer used by another app. An older device cannot upload its old journal into a recreated Halfwake account without reconnecting.
Other copies and subscriptions
Exports, shared images, messages and operating-system backups need to be removed in the destination that holds them. Deleting data or uninstalling does not cancel a store subscription. Open Halfwake Plus → Manage subscription, or use your Apple or Google subscription settings.
